Niewalt Engineering Consulting have developed a mobile app (Motor Asset Management System M.A.M.S) specifically suited for the electric motor industry with its core functions being:

• Uploading of all existing documentation of the motor as well as historical data
  
  
• Uploading of monthly inspections data, where, after three months the app will reflect a health state of the motor moments after the data was uploaded
  
  
• The motor is identified with a QR code displayed on the motor or alternatively a search function can be used
  
  
• Accurate repairs are documented allowing the end-user to immediately access all relevant data regarding a motor, and therefore can very quickly make an informed decision on the future of the motor
